Linda Kromjong, President, amfori

Linda Kromjong became President of amfori per 1 January 2022. In this role she continues creating positive impact by supporting business to enhance responsible conduct in their supply chain. amfori’s view is that trade should deliver social, environmental, and economic benefits for everyone.

From October 2018 through December 2021, she served as Global Labour & Human Rights Directorate Samsung Electronics. In this role she focused on establishing the company’s labour & human rights framework to drive corporate and supply chain improvements and on strengthening the company’s relationships with key international policymakers and opinion formers.

Prior to her role at Samsung, Linda Kromjong was Secretary-General of the International Organisation of Employers (IOE) in Geneva from 1 May 2015to 1 October 2018. Before the IOE, she was the Vice-President, Labour Relations International & Human Rights for Deutsche Post DHL.

Linda started her career in the Hospitality Industry with Sodexo in the Netherlands and has many years of experience in senior positions in general management, HR, Labour Relations and Business & Human Rights. She currently serves as a Member of the Stakeholder Board of the Association of Professional Social Compliance Auditors Inc.
(APSCA). She was a member of the UN Global Compact Advisory Board from 2015 to 2018.
Linda Kromjong is a Dutch national and completed Hotel Management School and
Business Management studies in the Netherlands.

Prof. Dr Wayne Visser is a Fellow and Head Program Instructor at the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership. He is also a Visiting Professor at Antwerp Management School’s Sustainable Transformation Lab, which he established in 2017. He is Director of the think-tank and media company, Kaleidoscope Futures, through which he co-produced and presented the award-winning documentary film on the circular economy called Closing the Loop. In addition, he is Founder of CSR International and Board Member of the Globally Responsible Leadership Initiative (GRLI).

Dr Visser previously served as Director of Sustainability Services for KPMG and Strategy Analyst for Capgemini in South Africa. His work as a strategy analyst, sustainability advisor, CSR expert, futurist and professional speaker has taken him to 79 countries in the past 30 years to work with over 230 clients. He is the author of 44 books, including Thriving, an Amazon bestseller in 17 countries. He has also published over 375 chapters, articles and reports and been a guest columnist for The Huffington Post, The Guardian and the World Economic Forum.

Richard currently serves as the Head of EU Policy at the World Benchmarking Alliance (WBA).   
Richard has previously lead the Global Witness EU Office’s Advocacy efforts, where he 
spearheaded campaigns and initiatives aimed at tackling the corruption, human rights violations, 
and environmental harm perpetrated by corporations and governments.  
In his current position, he crafts and executes strategies to engage with and influence

Martine Bosman is a lawyer by trade and the coordinating IRBC policy officer at the Social Economic Council of the Netherlands. Since 2014 active in the field of business and human rights, sustainability and circular economy. Martine tries to contribute to a more sustainable and human rights based development in the world of business through her work at the SER, her PhD research and teaching. At the SER she is the UN Guiding Principles and OECD Guidelines expert and coordinates and the SER I-RBC activities amongst which the knowledge and expertise center and the IRBC agreements. The research concentrates on social and environmental sustainability and the gap between law and practice and is practice based. Martine also teaches at Nyenrode Business University in the subjects labour law, governance, sustainability and circular economy.

Amanda has hands -on experience in policy, stakeholder engagement and communications from past roles at CSR Europe, Share Action and the Alliance for Rural Electrification, where she led the development of advocacy campaigns in the fields of energy access, sustainable finance and 
international cooperation.  
In her current position, she implements amfori’s advocacy strategy across key environmental 
topics with an impact on global supply chains, such as environmental due diligence, transparency, 
deforestation, climate change and circular economy. As part of her role, Amanda supports amfori 
members to stay abreast of policy and legislative trends, and contributes to the development and

He has led B2B & B2B2C enterprises and served on Boards of Directors of diversely sized public and private companies. At amfori Richard recently led the services organisation, responsible for the operations of the BSCI and BEPI risk-monitoring standards that have over 70,000 users worldwide.

Since January of 2023, Richard is responsible for the amfori global network of representatives and business development. He brings a corporate perspective and international

Franzis Wimmer

Franzis Wimmer, Network EMEA/Americas Manager

As the Network Manager for EMEA/Americas at amfori, Franzis is in charge of the development and implementation of amfori’s network strategy and to ensure alignment between global and local activities in close liaison with amfori’s main office and its local network representatives. Franzis also manages amfori’s Membership Advisory Council, which provides advice to amfori’s Board of Directors on strategic and operational matters based on aggregated input from amfori’s global network.

Previously, Franzis worked as Senior Advisor Advocacy & Engagement at amfori, where he was responsible for coordinating the strategic engagement of amfori’s key stakeholders including international organisations, civil society and trade unions. Franzis also led amfori’s gender equality programme as well as the organisations’ work on living wages. Before working for amfori, Franzis worked for different international non-profit associations, such as CSR Europe and ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability, to advance sustainability in both the private and public sector. Franzis holds a Bachelor of Arts in European Studies and a Master of Science in Sustainability Science and Policy from the University of Maastricht.
